THE LAUNCHING CEREMONIES FOR THE AMERICAN BATIK DESIGN COMPETITION

After successful launchings, first in Washington DC on April 8, 2011, presenting batik exhibition, traditional Indonesian dance, Indonesian cuisine and a remarkable fashion show featuring designer Denny Wirawan; and then in New York on April 20, 2011 with a thriving fashion show by Oscar Lawalata, the American Batik Design Competition will also be launched in San Francisco on April 29, 2011, Houston on May 18, 2011 and Chicago on May 19, 2011 presenting batik exhibition, video presentation, explanation about the competition, and other performances.
