Trader Batik
"Batik sudagaran", the product of batik traders, presents traditional designs adapted and enriched to fit the taste and environment of the merchant community. The changeover to batik for daily clothing for the common people, created an increasing demand for batik among the general public. This has stimulated the merchants outside the palace to develop batik-making businesses. “Batik Sudagaran” introduced the use of chemical dyes and richer colorings.
