| Indian influenced batik is batik with ornamentation from Indian textiles, namely patola and chitz or sembagi and began to be imitated by Arab and Chinese merchants about the 19th century in Java’s noarth coastal regions, especially Cirebon and Lasem. The Indian cultural influence to Javanese batik was done through the spread of Hindu and also trade with the Indians. | |||
